While the Sales Manager (SM) works mainly in the TekStack Sales area, access to other areas is often needed. You will see that the security role of the Sales Manager is numbered according to the solution you have access to.

Sales Manager 03

This is the basic SM role where you can access both Outbound and Sales areas in TekStack. While you have Read (Only) access to the dashboards in each area, you have Edit access to everything else.

  • Dashboards: Read Only
  • Edit access to Sales Acceleration (Sales Acceleration Activities, Sequences, Sequence Instances, Templates) and Customers (Accounts and Contacts) in Outbound.
  • Edit access to Sales (Opportunities and Competitors) and Customers (Accounts and Contacts) in Sales.
This access should enable you to:
  • Create and follow up on accounts and contacts.
  • Create opportunities.
  • Create emails, phone calls, and other various activities.
  • Close opportunities.

You can also edit Sales, Sales Accelerator and Email Template items in the Configure area. This gives you the ability to create and update an array of options in the Configure area.

If you are using TekStack MSP, this is the only role you will need.

Sales Manager 05

This role gives the SM Read (Only) access to the Delivery area including some of the Delivery items in Configure. You have Edit access to Customer Accounts and Contacts in this area as well.

Sales Manager 08

This role gives the SM access to the Revenue area where you can view My Daily Look and edit Activities, Subscriptions (Opportunities) and Customers (Accounts and Contacts). You can view Subscriptions (Orders) and Invoices (Invoices). You can view Revenue items.

In the Configure area, you can view the items related to Revenue.

Sales Manager 10

This role gives the SM Read (Only) access to the Marketing area. You can Edit your Customer Accounts and Contacts.

Sales Manager 12

This role gives the SM Read (Only) access to the Help Desk area. You can Edit Customer Accounts and Contacts.
