Templates make your life easier. Often, your project will have similar tasks, user stories and actions. Creating templates for them will save time for you and your project manager.
Note: You cannot add task, user story or action templates to project templates. You can only add them to projects that you have created.

Templates for Tasks
- In the Configure area, under Templates in the left navigation, click Project Tasks where you will see a list of Project Task Templates.
- Click the + icon to create a new task template.
- Fill out the form:
Name: Enter the name of the task template.
Milestone: Toggle Yes if this will be a Milestone template.
Description: Describe the work that the task requires.
Budget Hours: Estimate the number of hours to complete the task.
- Click Save. The form changes to allow for more information about the task.
- Under the General tab, select the Billing Type: Time & Materials or Fixed Price.
- Select the Project Task Classification. Click the field and press Enter to see a list.
Under the Details tab, if you toggled Yes to create a Milestone Task, you will see it default to your selection.
- Select the Planned Role. Click the field and press Enter to see a list.
- Under the User Stories tab, you can add User Stories to this Task Template.
- Under the Actions tab, you can add Actions to this Task Template.
- Click Save and then click the X in the upper right corner to close.
- In the Configure area, under Templates in the left navigation, click User Stories where you will see a list of User Story Templates.
- Click the + icon to create a new user story template.
- Fill out the form:
Name: Enter the name of the User Story template.
Description: Describe the work that the user story requires.
Budget Hours: Estimate the number of hours to complete the user story.
