New Features:
Common
- Timelines on Account, Contact, Opportunity, etc. have been updated to remove any activities that weren't useful. This allows for more streamlined tracking of relevant events occurring on each record.
- We updated forms for Phone Call, Email and Task activities to remove clutter and enhance ease of use.
- Contact records that are imported/synced/generated by the system without an Account record can now be deleted without errors.
Marketing
- We added the ability to assign Posted Forms for easier transition from marketing to sales
- Posted Forms now have a "Follow Up" button that opens a new window for sales representatives to generate an order or return the Posted Form to marketing to gather more information.
- When a new Posted Form is received, a Teams notification is sent to the User or Team. This is set in Configurations. You can also turn these notifications off as well as choose which User or Team is notified.
Sales
- A percentage (%) discount field has been added to the Opportunity Line (Products). If you enter a dollar value into 'Discount Per Unit' it will automatically calculate the 'Discount % Per Unit' and vice versa. This now allows you to apply % or $ discounts to products; previously it only allowed for $ discounts. This should increase flexibility for Sales Representatives on what can be offered.
Delivery
- You can now assign Resources to multiple Project Tasks/User Stories at the Project level. Find A Resource is available from the 'Requirements' tab on the Project by selecting the 'Project Resource Requirement'(Resource Role) record and selecting which Project Task/User Story you want to resource.
This makes it easier to assign resources based on their role for any Tasks/User Stories that need to be completed by that role. It also displays the Resources' schedule details for the date range you want to book them for, allowing you to see at a glance where and when they have been assigned.
This feature includes multiple notifications and messages to advise you of what actions are taking place when you book a resource.
- You can now modify the hours and the date you are booking the Resource from the Schedule Details, allowing you to in-line edit those changes. This makes it easier to navigate bookings without having to go back to each Task/User Story independently. Overall, the booking functionality should be cleaner and easier to use.
- Time Entries now have Categories. These are set up in Configuration. When a Resource creates a new Time Entry, they can categorize it. This is not a required field and can be turned off in Configuration.
- We've added an auto-generated Project number (#) when a Project is created, for ease of use and better referencing.
Revenue
- Products and Services that were added to an Opportunity in the past have been updated to correctly generate all the invoices and revenue records to the current date. Previously, the initial past invoice would be generated but subsequent past invoices would not be created;--just those from the current date into the future.
- We added Invoice Line Types for Product, Time & Materials and Milestones so it's easier to differentiate what invoice line you are reviewing.
- Time & Materials Invoice Lines now separate billable versus non billable hours, making it easier to identify the total work completed for an invoice and display to Customers work that was completed but not billed.
- Deferred Revenue Recognition is now being set for time based products. If a subscription is not time based, the deferred revenue recognition will automatically be set to 100% up front regardless of the value set in Configuration.
- Product Cost and Gross Margin have been added to Product Prices, Opportunity and Opportunity Lines to easily identify costs and margins for your products.
