Introduction
If your organization will be using the TekStack Partner Deals feature, there are several settings that should be reviewed prior to rolling out the functionality to your team.
Cloud Flows
Prerequisites
User requires the System Administrator or System Customizer security role.
Familiarity with Power Apps and Cloud (Power Automate) flows is an asset.
Navigation
In Power Apps, select the environment > Solutions > Default Solution > Cloud Flows.
Locate the following flows and ensure they have connection references established and are turned on.
Converted Deal Notification - Sends an email to the partner contact notifying that a partner deal (specifics provided) has been converted into an Opportunity.
New Deal Notification - Sends an email to the partner contact notifying that a partner deal (specifics provided) has been registered for review.
Rejected Deal Notification - Sends an email to the partner contact notifying that a partner deal (specifics provided) has been rejected and will not be converted to an Opportunity.
- Teams Notification for New Deal - References the partner deal team set in TekStack Settings and sends a Microsoft Teams message notifying that a partner deal (specifics provided) has been registered in for review.
TekStack Settings
Prerequisites
User requires the System Administrator or System Customizer security role, OR
User requires TekStack security roles for “TekStack Admin.”
Navigation
In TekStack select Configure area > TekStack Settings > open the TekStack Settings record > Sales tab.
Scroll to the bottom of the page to the Partner Deals section.
Partner Deal Created Teams Notification - Toggle to “yes” for a team of users to receive a Microsoft Teams notification when a new Partner Deal is created in TekStack (especially helpful if Partner Portal is in use).
Partner Deals Team - The team of users that will receive a notification if Teams Notification toggle is set to “yes.”
Partner Deals Channel - The Microsoft Teams channel that notifications will be sent to regarding the creation of partner deals.
Send Partner Emails - Toggle to “yes” for partner contacts to receive emails regarding registered, converted, and rejected partner deals.
Partner Deals Email Sender - The email address that will be used to send emails to partner deal contacts.
