As a member of a testing team, you may do testing work in any area in TekStack. This means you must access that area with a certain level of security. Yet, you need to be able to change security roles. Therefore, you must have System Admin access to do that.

By using the TekStack Promote to Admin 00 role, you can easily do that.

1. Click the Settings gear in upper right of the Power Apps command bar.

2. Click Advanced Settings. This takes you to the Dynamics 365 command bar.

3. Click Settings in the command bar.

 

4. Under System, click Security.

5. Click Users.

6. Click your name and then click Manage Roles.

You must select TekStack Promote to Admin 00. With that checked, you can select any role, or roles, you need to use to test. You can then return to the Manage Roles anytime to select a different role, or roles.
