3. Remaining Hours:
  • This field shows the Remaining Hours needed to complete the Task.
  • It is calculated by subtracting the Actual Hours from the EAC (EAC - Actual Hours)
4. Effort Estimate at Complete (EAC):
  • Shows a forecast of an estimated total effort required to complete the task.
  • Shows how hours are estimated to be booked by the time this task is completed.
  • It is calculated by adding the Remaining Hours + the Actual Hours (Remaining Hours + Actual Hours)
5. Effort Variance:

  • Shows all hours submitted against the task.
  • As Time entries are approved against the task, that time becomes Actual Hours for the task.
7.Pending Hours:

8.Proposed Effort Estimate at Complete (EAC):
  • This field shows the estimate of hours once the task is completed, as proposed by a Project resource, but not yet approved by a project manager.
  • It is calculated by adding Actual Hours, Pending Hours, & Remaining Hours. (Actual + Pending + Remaining Hours)

  • It is calculated by subtracting the Proposed EAC from the EAC (EAC - Proposed EAC)
