When a sale is made, the product will eventually be implemented for the customer. This means a project must be set up and resources deployed to get that done. But what if your services team doesn’t realize their services are needed?

Close the loop with TekStack’s feature to associate project templates to your products. When you close a sales opportunity as won, it will automatically launch a project to implement the corresponding product. When this link is made, the handoff from the sales team is smooth and effortless.

Here’s how to link a project template to a product. 

  1. In the Configure area of TekStack, go to Project Setup in the left navigation, and then select Product Project Mappings.
  2. In the Active Product Project Mappings form, click the + sign. The New Product Project Mapping form opens.

  1. Click in the Product field and press Enter to see a list of products. Select the one you want to associate with a template.
  2. Click in the Project Template field and press Enter to see a list of project templates. Select the one you want to associate with the product you selected above.
  3. Click Save.

The next time an opportunity with a product associated with it is Closed as Won, a project of this type will be automatically launched.

Whenever a new project is created, a Teams notification goes to the Team associated with the Services Administrator.
