- In the Configure area, under the Sales section in the left navigation, select Price Lists. The list of prices lists appears.
- Choose the price list where you want to add the bundled product. The price list opens.
- Click the Products tab. Here you will see a variety of products already added to this price list.
- Click the + sign to open the New Product Price form. The Bundle option is the first you will choose.
- Click the toggle to Yes for a Bundle.
- Fill in the fields.
Name: Name your bundle.
Unit: Select the unit from the list by clicking in the field and pressing Enter.
Subscription: Toggle Yes or No to indicate whether the bundle will be a subscription or not.
Unit Price: This is the price of the bundle. You should have a good idea of the products you will add to the bundle so the pricing is correct.
Currency: This is a locked field because you have already chosen a price list which is based on a currency.
- Click Save. The form changes to allow for more information. You are now viewing a similar four-part form that opens when you add any new product to a price list. As it is a bundle, you will also see the Bundled Products tab where you can add the products that will be part of this bundle.
This form has four parts to fill:
- General part at the top – this form varies from the regular product form. Product Classification is a field you must select for the bundle to be available in an opportunity.
- Subscription part
- Invoicing part
- Revenue part
- Click the Bundled Products tab to add products to this bundle.
- Click the + sign to add the product.
Fill in the fields:
Product: Place the cursor in the field and press Enter to select from the list of products. Important note: Products that you add to a bundle must already be added to the Products list.
Quantity: Add the quantity of the selected product that will be in the bundle.
Cost Amount: This locked field is filled in based on the cost of the product you selected.
- Click Save. The form changes to a Summary of the information you entered with additional details about the product.
Once you have added the products to the bundle, they’ll appear in a list of Bundled Products under the tab. You can now add this bundle to an opportunity.
Add Bundle to an Opportunity
- In the Account, click the Opportunities tab. Or you can click Opportunities from the left navigation under the Sales section of the Sales area.
- Click the + sign to create a new Opportunity. See Set Up a New Opportunity.
- In the Opportunity, click the Products tab. A New Opportunity Line opens.
Note: The Products tab is the default--you can also choose Services. Products you can select under these tabs are governed by the Product Classification.
- Click in the Product field and press Enter to see the list of products.
- Enter the quantity.
Once you have added the bundle and saved it, the form will change. You can see additional tabs that show more information.
The General tab shows more detail about the product, invoicing and calculations.
The Subscription tab shows information you entered about the subscription. If the product is not a subscription, this tab will not appear.
The Description tab displays a Rich Text field that allows you to enter a detailed description of the product bundle.
The Bundled Products tab shows a list of the products included in the bundle.
You have now created a bundle in a price list and added it to an opportunity.
