Sometimes after you have set up all the resources you need on a project, the hours you assigned need to change. A redistribution of hours on a task might be the solution. This is easy in TekStack’s Delivery app.

1. From the Schedule tab in a project, click a task to open it.
2. Select the Resources tab to see a list of resources you have assigned to the task. You can also see the Actual Hours, Remaining Hours, Estimated at Completion hours and the Variance.

3. Click Redistribute  in the ribbon to redistribute the hours according to your needs. Double click the pencil next to the hours you want to change. At the same time, you can change the Remaining Hours.

4. Click Save. The hours are updated.

When you change the hours assigned on the project task, you may need more resources to complete its budgeted hours. The Find Resource button will appear on the ribbon.

You have now redistributed the budgeted hours of your task among your resources.
